The mission:
Get More hot tub removal bookings
Junk Doctors, a junk removal company in North Carolina, wanted to book more high-ticket hot tub removal jobs, but search ads alone weren’t getting it done.
We were tasked with creating video content that could both generate immediate hot tub removal bookings and help improve Junk Doctors’ search rankings for related keywords.
The approach:
Social and time on page
We decided that the best way to boost immediate hot tub removal bookings was through social media video ads. Our goal was to reach customers who didn’t know such a service was available, or who had been procrastinating on taking on such a large project.
We teamed up with Junk Doctors’ office staff to review previous hot tub removal jobs. We created a hot tub removal customer profile by analyzing age, gender, and location of previous customers. We used this information to plan both our video and our ad strategy.
The Plan:
Shareable, Cute, Easy
Based on our customer profile, we knew we needed a video that our audience would find approachable, cute, and shareable.
We scripted and storyboarded a video that included the ridiculous swamp monster scenario, a dog, and a push-pull character dynamic. We then planned a detailed shot list and shooting schedule and hired crew and actors.

Over–delivering
We shot and edited the video, including VFX work, finishing almost a week ahead of schedule and significantly under budget.
We then created, tested, and ran our video ad campaign, which generated over $50,000 in directly traceable revenue and more than 285,000 video views.
Time on page and search engine rankings increased substantially as well. Mission accomplished!
